Wow, the week sure does fly by fast! Here’s another entry in my pregnancy diary, The Bump Tales. Not much as changed this week, it’s actually been pretty boring pregnancy-wise. Thanksgiving was a nice for family, The Hubbi cooked, then his sisters and my cousins came over to enjoy all the food. It was definitely a great day to eat all you can and enjoy time with family. I’ll tell you one thing though, I am not a big fan of Black Friday, especially with this Bump, I won’t be partaking in any store sales this year, at least not in person. I LOVE online shopping!
BG2 doesn’t seem to be moving around as much this week as she did before, I don’t know if she’s too tired or what. At first, it kind of worried me, but since I still got a few kicks & some movement within 24 hours, I began to think it’s okay, for now. I was reassured that everything was okay on over the weekend though when The Hubbi & I went to a birthday party on Saturday & watched Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows on Sunday. She was kicking up a storm and moving around like she was doing tumbles in there at the party. I don’t know if it was because of all the noise, but she was definitely very active. On Sunday, she didn’t seem to like Harry Potter too much as she was moving around and tightening up my uterus the whole movie! It was pretty funny both times and I made sure to let the The Hubbi in on all the action, and he pretty much agreed with me.
My body hasn’t changed much either. My pelvic are still aches, and I guess it aches even more nowadays, but I know that’s not going to get any better any time soon, so I’ve learned to deal with it. I guess the major thing is that now my feet & ankles have started to swell a little bit everyday. It’s not like how it was with BG1 though, where it swelled all day/everyday since I was 5 months pregnant, but this time it comes and goes, which is more than I could hope for because we all know some swelling is natural.
I have been shopping more though, especially with the holidays coming up and all the sales and stuff, it’s hard not to. We had planned to start baby shopping in December anyways so I suppose it doesn’t hurt to shop for the little things right now. I got to get started on doing the laundry for all the old baby clothes though because there’s a whole pile of boxes that keep staring me in the face all the time, begging me to wash them. Plus we have to move some things around like furniture and stuff to prepare for the baby, even though there’s still 3 months left, I don’t like to wait for the last minute to do things, haha.
New This Week:
– The shirts I bought last month that I thought would last me through the winter & the rest of this pregnancy are getting pretty tight, which sucks. I may have to head back to Old Navy and buy some bigger shirts, or maybe just double up on shirts so the belly can stay warm haha.
– I have been feeling kind of dizzy and more tired lately, which “the experts” say is normal, but I’m chuggin’ on through as best as I can. Also, my lower back is killing me! And it’s only on one side, which makes me think the baby is probably on that side, haha.
