Wow! My little baby is finally 6 months! She’s officially no longer a newborn and has transitioned into the infant stage. How can it be that 6 months ago I just gave birth to this beautiful little miracle?!?! How can 6 months breeze by so quickly?!?! She amazes me everyday and is truly the highlight of my life.
I still remember pushing her big head out and being shocked at finding out she weighed close to 9 lbs. I remember the first month when she refused to sleep any other way except for on top of someone, night and day. I remember her first smile and laugh, when she started babbling and blowing bubbles. I remember when she started rolling over and recognizing faces. Now she’s sitting up, cruising in her walker, and eating solid foods.
She had her 6 month check-up this week and she’s officially 18lbs 14oz! Yay! Although we did try to hit the 20lb mark, it’s fine because she’s happy & healthy and that’s all that matters. She’s in phase where she’s super clingy, especially with me, always making sure Mommy is within her visual vicinity or else she’ll start whining, haha. She’s also developing stranger anxiety where she’ll either cry or curl up and hide herself whenever someone she doesn’t know tries to hold her, it’s too cute.
Her eating habits are starting to get a little better, and it’s obvious she prefers real food as opposed to her bottle, even though she gags easily. She’s super nosy, hates to lay down, and her favorite “toy” is the remote control, which is somehow manages to change to some sort of sports channel!?!?!
Love. This. Girl!
