Review: LuckyCann Purses

October 25, 2011 Reviews 2

When shopping for cheap, everyday bags, I usually go to Target or random places here and there, but then I see everyone and their mom with them!

The thing I love about Etsy is everything’s handmade and a lot of it is unique. Anyways, this isn’t a discussion about my addiction to Etsy, while browsing through various shops for purses, I found LuckyCann – Handmade Bags for Function and Fashion.

LuckyCann bags are made by Ann using canvas material, which you know is sturdy and durable. I LOVE these purses and have favorited a bunch for when I get the money to buy some more, haha. I had the amazing chance to review a bag, the Lucky Aster in Bright Turquoise, and I simply adore it.

This bag is perfect for me because I’m studying for my exams and it can easily fit all my books, with room to spare. Being a medical school student, I have to lug around a bunch of textbooks & my laptop. I tested it since I got it, and it has easily stood up to the challenge. It has a short strap for when you want to use it as a shoulder bag and a longer, removable strap for when you want to put it over your shoulder (like a messenger bag).

I also love to use this bag to go out since I’m into big bags and I’m a mother, you kind of have to carry a lot of things. Ann’s bags are all so cute and stylish, and I love carrying my Lucky Aster around as a day bag on errands, family outings, or hanging out with friends.

When buying handmade things online, I’m always skeptical about the quality, therefore hesitant on buying them, but Ann’s products are quality bags, I assure you. The cavas material is thick and durable, the color is gorgeous (it just POPS!), and the stitching is flawless. I can’t stop raving about it!

What I love most about this bag is the endless amount of pockets it has (more than I know what to do with). Love! I’m a big fan of bags with a lot of pockets and hate finding a bag I love, and realize it doesn’t have any or just one pocket inside. The Lucky Aster has a total of 13 pockets & one for your pen/pencil. That’s a lot of pockets!

Interior Specs – Pockets:
-2 Exterior Side
-4 Exterior Front
-1 Back
-2 Interior for Large Notebooks
-2 Interior for Small Notebooks
-1 3D for Phone, mp3 Player, etc.
-1 Interior for Wallet

All of Ann’s bags are reasonably priced ($45- $55) and shipping is incredibly fast and reliable. Ann was such a delight to work with too and answered all of my questions appropriately. Excellent customer service!

Some other favorites from the shop are the Lucky Iris and the Lucky Fern, both adorable bags & both on my wish list! These bags are an excellent idea for unique gifts for the upcoming holiday season and right now Ann is offering FREE SHIPPING on ALL purchases! You can’t get much better than that!

What are you waiting for? Go check out her amazing store and order a gorgeous bag yourself! You won’t regret it!

Be sure to check out and “Like” LuckyCann on Facebook, where Ann posts even more photos of her bags and other cool things!
