I have always been a fan of Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill and to finally see her tie the knot with a good guy is just awesome. Their wedding was fantastic, true B. Davis-style and she looked gorgeous. It definitely made me think about my wedding and how wonderful it was.
I’m not the girly type at all and didn’t ever really have a dream wedding, but when it came down to it, I loved how my wedding turned out, except that I was too busy stressing over it to really enjoy it (Ladies, get a wedding planner!), but otherwise it was perfect.
We had an intimate ceremony, just family and close friends at an outdoor venue in center city. Since we got married in the summer, we had to do an outdoor wedding. I had on a ball gown wedding dress, my hair in an updo, and my best friends in the bridal party. My daughter was the adorable flower girl and we were happily married in a light-hearted and fun ceremony where the processional song was “Dream Boy/Dream Girl”. Loved it!
Then at the reception, all our friends and family joined us to celebrate at a local restaurant in Chinatown, as per local custom, and we walked out as Mr. & Mrs. There was a DJ, so dancing and music was epic. The cake was delicious and we toasted with Cristal! Everything about that day was perfect and I always look back to it whenever I see a wedding, whether it’s on TV or in real life.

Watching Brooke and Julian say their vows was so touching and you could see how much they love each other. So romantic! Everything so was extravagant and elegant, I loved it. It was definitely a great wedding and I wouldn’t mind something like that if I had to do it all over again, Brooke Davis-style! Besides the vow scene, I really loved when they had their first dance. Such a sweet and tender moment shared between Brooke and Julian, plus I love the song.
