I’ve made the big leap and I’m not looking back. Thanks to the fabulous work of my designer, Jacqui from Wacky Jacqui’s Designs, I’m now on WordPress.
Things might look a bit iffy for awhile as I adjust and personalize the blog, but for the most part everything is up and running. If you find yourself perusing around here and something is amiss, do let me know and I’ll tend right to it.
I’m sure you’ve heard plenty of rumors, news, opinions, and the like as to why so many bloggers use WordPress or eventually transfer over so I won’t bore you with that. There were many personal reasons why I switched, the top one being I wanted WordPress form the very beginning since I was used to it after having worked on many fan sites in the past. It’s what I know and love, even though it’s changed quite a bit since I’ve used it and I’ll have to get reacquainted, but I’m sure that won’t take long. The major factor that kept me away for so long was money. But, since I realized how much more active I am on the blog and how I simply love blogging, I figured it was an expense I could justify. I love blogging and this blog, so why not invest in it?!
If you didn’t get a chance to check out the new design, you can see it now, and I’ll probably update again when everything is perfect and just the way I want it to be.
I’ve got some great ideas planned for the blog in the upcoming months and once I get out of this online funk I’m kind of in right now, you’ll get to experience it all.
In case you haven’t heard, Google will be discontinuing GFC for all WordPress blogs in March, so if you’re following my blog that way, I’d love it if you subscribed to my RSS feed instead. Still the same great content, sent right to your Reader. Or you can subscribe via email and have all my posts delivered right to your inbox. Can’t get much better than that!
I hope everyone’s new year is off to a great start!
