If you didn’t already know, I am a HUGE Jennifer Armentrout fan. I mean, seriously, this woman has made me fall so hard for her books, it’s crazy! In the short time that I’ve come to know and love her and her books, she’s easily become my favorite author. So much so, that I dedicated a fan site to her, Deity Island. If you want to know anything about her and her books, I’ve got the answers there!
What I really wanted to let you all know is I’m hosting this pretty cool thing called the JLA Reading Challenge over at Deity Island, which I totally think you should take part in. Whether you’re a long time fan, a new fan, or you just heard about her RIGHT NOW, you’re gonna want to check this out.
What Is It: Jen’s got 5 amazing books coming out this year, one each month, which makes a total of 11 books by the end of 2012. So I challenged readers to read ALL of her books, with a different series/stand alone each month.
How To Participate: You simply read the designated book(s) for the month, you have an entire month to do so, and then write a review about it on your blog, Facebook, Amazon, or B&N. FYI, this month’s challenge involves reading The Lux Series, which is super awesome (and Onyx JUST came out and is AMAZING). I’m even hosting a giveaway for the first book, Obsidian, here on the blog.
Incentives: Each month, I pick a winner from the list of reviews and they win a copy of one of Jen’s books, usually the one that will be challenged for the following month. There’s also a TON of swag and SIGNED items that I’ll be giving away to participants as well. The big deal…Jen is doing LIVE AUTHOR CHATS! How freaking awesome is that?! Yes, at the end of each challenge month, Jen will be doing live chats with fans to discuss her books.
Want to know more?! Just visit the JLA Reading Challenge page for ALL the details and be sure to sign up! Things are just getting started and I have so much planned for the upcoming months (this month has been kind of crazy since I’m technically not supposed to be online, but that’s besides the point).
