Title: Until I Die (Die for Me #2) [Goodreads][Amazon]
Author: Amy Plum
Publisher: HarperCollins
Format: ARC
Pages: 353
Release Date: May 8, 2012
In My Opinion: Must. Read. Now!
One Line: Even better than the first, I seriously cannot get enough of this tale of love, mystery, and passion.

About the Book: Kate and Vincent have overcome the odds and at last they are together in Paris, the city of lights and love.

As their romance deepens there’s one question they can’t ignore: How are they supposed to be together if Vincent can’t resist sacrificing himself to save others? Although Vincent promises that he’ll do whatever it takes to lead a normal life with Kate, will that mean letting innocent people die? When a new and surprising enemy reveals itself, Kate realizes that even more may be at stake—and that Vincent’s immortality is in jeopardy.

In Die for Me, Amy Plum created a captivating paranormal mythology with immortal revenants and a lush Paris setting. Until I Die is poised to thrill readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave them desperate for the third and final novel in the series.

I remember falling in love with Die For Me way back when and now Until I Die has captured my heart and thrown me back into this creative and unforgettable Parisian world that I just can’t get enough of. It’s not often that the second book is even more engrossing and captivating than the first, but I’m happy to say that Amy did a superb job with this one and you’ll find yourself unable to put this book down.

In Until I Die, we delve deeper into the world of the Revenants and you learn a lot more about who they are. There are a bunch of new characters you get to meet as well as learn more about the characters from the first book. A different kind of bad guy surfaces in this book and Vincent and Kate are right in the middle of this dark mystery.

Kate and Vincent’s love continues to blossom and with it, a lot of struggles. Vincent deals with going against his nature to save Kate from the pain and hurt it can cause her, and Kate tries to figure out a way for them to be together in peace. You really get to see how much these two care for each other and the lengths they will go to in order to protect each other and be together. While not an epic romance in the real definition, it’s truly a heartfelt and touching romance that I couldn’t get enough of. I truly fell for them as a couple and that ending?!? Oh boy, I think if I were you, I’d seriously wait until If I Should Die comes out because Amy left us with a true cliffhanger ending that was both gut-wrenching and crazy unbelievable!

Oh, and if I didn’t say how much I love and adore Jules in the first book, I love and adore him even more in this one. I knew from the beginning that he’s much deeper than he lets on, but he’s such an amazingly good guy that he always puts others before him. I seriously wish I could’ve seen more of him in this book, but, thankfully there will be a novella all about Jules coming out soon (Thanks Amy!) and I can’t wait to read it.

What else can I say?! If you haven’t read this series yet, you are seriously missing out on an epic paranormal tale of romance, passion, and adventure. I’m just dying for the next and final book and the wait is pure torture!
