Just thought I’d share with you all a few things I’m addicted to at the moment…
This week, it’s (summer) TV shows:
Switched at Birth – OMG! I can not tell you how obsessed I am with this show! I marathoned this bad boy a couple of months ago, for no reason other than I was bored and needed something to watch and my SIL kept telling me how amazing it was and I didn’t believe her. Thank goodness I finally caved! I seriously get all giddy every Monday and watch new episodes right away, then wait agonizingly for the next one. When I marathoned it, I couldn’t get enough, it was just so good. The drama. The characters. The love. Ugh, so awesome!
Drop Dead Diva – I am SO happy that this show was revived after it was cancelled so unexpectedly last fall. True, I’m not digging the new angel, although he is nice to look at and funny in that “ditzy blonde” kind of way, but I don’t see his purpose as a character on the show. I suppose I kind of like what they did w/the Old Jane/New Jane thing, although that resolved a little quickly. Probably my least favorite thing is how Owen’s character changed so drastically. However, I’m still deeply invested in this story and Jane is easily one of my favorite TV characters ever! I love her spunk, her confidence, and her personality. Brooke plays that character like a real pro.
Pretty Little Liars – I’ll admit, my interest is starting to dwindle a little. I feel like they’re spinning the plot way too crazily and it’s going the way of Heroes, and we all know how badly that ended. Sure, you want to keep the seasons going and you want to diverge from the books, but seriously, where the hell is this thing going?!
Baby Daddy – This “little comedy that could” is a nice show that’s there for laughs. Danny, the older brother, played by Derek Theler, might be the real reason why I watch this show (he is HOT!), but I also love Tucker, played by Tahj Mowry. He is hilarious. Chelsea Kane is also adorable and Melissa Peterman had her moments.
It’s the summer of ABC family shows, it looks like! LOL!
What shows are you addicted to right now? Also, while I love my drama, I am in serious need for some new comedy shows to watch! Any suggestions?!
