Rich, beautiful, and wild, Reagan McKinley has everything she needs...but nothing that she wants. That is, until she spends one hot night in the arms of sexy, unbridled Dare Wilde.
She's a girl trapped in a rigid world she desperately wants to escape, and he's an untamed artist with an attitude, hell-bent on freeing her—body, mind, and soul. But Reagan's life is not her own, and Dare is not welcome in it. She can't include him in her carefully-controlled, extremely public lifestyle...and yet she cannot give him up.
Will a shared passion for art—and, increasingly, each other—be enough to keep them together? Or will it be the thing that ultimately tears them apart?

In My Opinion: Add to cart!
Untamed is the first of FIVE novellas in this particular series (meant to be a kind of serial romance) and I have to say, even though the wait is torture, I’m becoming a fan of these kinds of reads. The book itself is filled with passionate characters, meaningful encounters, and plenty of drama and romance to fulfill all your needs. Not only did I enjoy the romance between Reagan and Dare, I loved getting to know these two characters individually and seeing the messed up lives they’re in. The authors pack a lot into such a short introduction, so you get to really know these characters. These two definitely can’t fight their attraction to each other, and from that they learn to open themselves up, try new things, and become better versions of themselves. You get some really great intimate moments between these two that go beyond just sex and I loved that about them.
I have to mention this. Man oh man, did I loathe Reagan’s family. Not only are her parents self-absorbed and just plain mean, her siblings are rude and obnoxious, too. The authors definitely did a good job at creating a tense family dynamic that brought a lot of drama to the story. Admittedly, I wished Reagan would’ve told them to “Suck it!” a long time ago, but I know, when you’re in these situations, it’s hard to let go and free yourself from the poison, especially when it’s your family that is holding you back.
I really enjoyed this book and can tell the series is going to be great. That ending totally leaves you hanging though, so if you don’t like to wait, I suggest holding off until the full series comes out and reading them all at once. Trust me, you won’t be able to stop!
