Happy 30 weeks! It’s getting closer and closer to the home stretch. With BG2, I gave birth at a little after 38 weeks, if I remember correctly, but with BG1, I was overdue by a few days, so it’s really up in the air with when this one wants to come out. I’m hoping things will stay on course and she’ll at least be full term. I’m always scared of having a pre-term baby. And I definitely don’t want to have any problems while I’m away on this rotation.
And now for the belly shot:
At first I thought I liked how I looked in maxi dresses, but I really loved wearing my pregnancy tanks and tights. It just looks more flattering I guess since I have such a big belly, lol. That top part of my belly is really sticking out though, and I’m guessing that’s the baby’s butt. Sometimes she just sticks it out and to the side like no one’s business. I love it!
Baby Size: About the size of a head of Cabbage – 3.25lbs, 15.7in
Movement: Around the clock! I love feeling her kick and move around and I even poke at the belly sometimes to tease her.
Weight Gained: 1.5lbs
New Pregnancy Symptoms: Nothing new. Still dealing with constipation and acid reflux, which is really the biggest problems of each of my pregnancies.
Cravings/Aversions: Nothing new.
Sleep Changes: I find myself waking up every few hours, mostly just to change positions and all that. I’m insanely tired, but can’t seem to get a decent amount of hours of sleep.
How I’m Feeling: I’m feeling a little sad. It’s partly to do with my being away from the family and I’m also insanely stressed because this rotation is driving me crazy. And I’m stressing over my upcoming exam. Sigh.
Anything Else: I think I’m becoming more clumsy lately because I’ve noticed quite a few small bruises on my belly. Sorry Baby! I think with me moving around so much during my rotation and my belly being so big, I just bump into things without even thinking about it. I gotta pay more attention now!
Btw, I started doing pregnancy vlog updates! Yay!
I’ll be posting one every week from now until the baby is born. I hope you’ll check it out.
Thanks for following along on this journey with me. See you next week!
