WARNING, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK from Matt Connover, Litigation God: Please do not attempt to read my story in public, as my sexual proclivities have been known to cause squirming in your seat, squeezing of your legs together and unintentional moaning, sometimes with spontaneous bursts of laughter at random moments. If you are offended by the fact that my oral skills are just as accomplished in the bedroom as they are the courtroom, then this book is not for you. There may be moments while reading my story that you get so turned on… so hot and bothered… that your squirming and moaning could turn maniacal in nature and neither I, nor the author, are responsible for the weird looks you may get. Notwithstanding the aforementioned warnings, if you assume the risk and read my tale in public, then I recommend you carry a spare set of panties with you. You will need them and you have been warned.”

My name is Matt Connover. I am a Litigation God.
Other lawyers quake before me.
Women crawl on their knees just to spend the night in my bed and when I’m finished with them, I walk away without a backward glance.

I am well satisfied with my life and there isn’t a damn thing I’d change about it.

That is, until McKayla Dawson came along.

She was meant to be for one night only.
But she got under my skin, and now I want her back underneath my body.

It’s torture working with her in my law firm… day in and day out. But I have to think maybe the Fates have intervened to throw us together because she is unlike anyone I’ve ever known, and thus I need to pay careful attention to these Legal Affairs.

I received this book for free from The Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Also in this series: Mitigation, Reparation, Affirmation, Friction
Also by this author: Off Chance, Forever Young, If I Return, On the Rocks, Mitigation, Reparation, Affirmation, Make it a Double, Sugar on the Edge, Alex, With a Twist, Garrett, Shaken, Not Stirred, Clash, Grind, Yield, Zack, Wicked Fall, Ryker, Friction, Hawke, Jilted

One Line: A sizzling alternate POV that I couldn’t put down.

In My Opinion: Add to cart!

Oh, Matt Connover, how I want to strangle yet spread you on a cracker all at the same time. Maybe you’d like that kind of mix anyways, right?!

Anyways, in case you didn’t know, this book is basically Legal Affairs told from Matt’s POV and I loved every minute of it. Not just a spit up of what happened in Legal Affairs, Litigation God lets you inside the head of Matt Fucking Connover. You get to see his drive and passion for law, his inner turmoil over his catastrophe of a marriage and divorce, and you get to see him struggle with denying his insane attraction and love for McKayla.

I’ll be honest with you, there were plenty of times I wanted to slap Matt for what he thought and did in this book, just like when I was reading Legal Affairs. But, getting the full picture from his POV definitely made me sympathize with him more, although it in no way made him less of a jerk a times. I also liked seeing the bits and pieces that McKayla never really got to see. After knowing Matt in and out, and seeing McKayla and their relationship through his eyes, it’s hard for me not to love them as a couple and Matt as an individual.

Bennett just has a way with words and characters. I have loved and devoured each one of her books and this one is no exception. Confessions of a Litigation God will have you glued to the pages and begging for a Matt Connover of your very own, if only for the sheer pleasure this man can provide you. Irresistible and deliciously addictive, this book will leave you pleasantly satisfied, that’s for sure!
