In Beautiful Stranger , finance whiz Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at a New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them learn to balance commitment with their less than private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved, Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question is: Will they be able to find a balance between the wild sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart.

I received this book for free from The Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Also in this series: Beautiful Secret
Also by this author: Sweet Filthy Boy, Dirty Rowdy Thing, Beautiful Secret, Dark Wild Night

One Line: Loved this continuation of one of my all-time favorite couples!

In My Opinion: Add to cart!

Oh, how I loved being back in the world of Max and Sara. They were easily my favorite couple in the Beautiful Bastard series and I loved seeing how their lives are nowadays. They were definitely different in how brazen they were with their intimacy, but also with how passionate they were with their love. Let me just say that this little novella was filled with plenty of moments where the couple tried to rekindle the romance and intimacy in their lives after the birth of their daughter. And I have to say, they are just as hot and heavy as ever!

It was funny seeing them juggle being new parents and being romantic and intimate with each other. It was so cute and sweet seeing them with their daughter. The fierceness with which they love their daughter was so touching. The hilarious part was watching them try, and fail, to get some quality alone time. I liked that CL didn’t hold back with the thoughts and emotions a lot of new parents have. How do you define yourself now that you have kids? What takes precedence when it comes to your marriage versus the kids? How can you balance everything? And other such questions like that. Max and Sara deal with all of that and more.

If you enjoyed Max and Stella’s romance, you’ll get a kick out of them as parents. Their love is just as all-encompassing and explosive as ever. CL fans will not be disappointed!

About Christina Lauren

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
