At Boomerang, one night can change everything . . .
Adam Blackwood has it all. At twenty-three he's fabulously wealthy, Ryan Gosling-hot, and at the top of his game in the business world. His life is perfect until a scandal from his past resurfaces and threatens to knock the tech wunderkind down and throw his company, Boomerang--a hook-up site for millennials--into chaos.
Alison Quick, the twenty-one-year-old daughter of a business tycoon--and the ex-girlfriend of Boomerang's former intern, Ethan--has a problem of her own. After nearly flunking out in her senior year of college, she has one chance to redeem herself to her father by proving that she deserves a place in his corporate empire. That means spearheading her father's plan to sink big money into Adam's company and launch it into the stratosphere--provided Adam has no skeletons in his closet.
When the two meet, their sizzling chemistry makes it tough to keep things strictly professional. But when Alison discovers Adam's secret, she knows she should bring it right to her father, who'll leverage it for his own gain and use it to ruin Adam. The only problem: she's falling for Adam--hard.
Will earning her father's approval come at the price of losing her first real love? Or can Adam and Alison leave behind past mistakes and conquer the world--together?

One Line: A fun, light-hearted read filled with an array of entertaining characters.
In My Opinion: Add to cart!
I really loved the beginning of this book, how Alison and Adam met was so hilarious, sexy, and entertaining. I think these two characters mixed very well together. Alison was able to stir feelings in Adam he never thought he’d feel again and she helped him open up about his past and the things that haunt him. In turn, Adam helped Alison come out of her shell and pushed her to be more confident and to revel in the things that she actually loves. Their relationship was about so much more than just the physical attraction and I liked that the authors explored that without making it boring. Even though this book is told from both POVs, I connected more with Adam than with Alison. I liked Alison plenty, but Adam’s character stood out to me more and I enjoyed being inside his head. Adam is an amazing boss and I loved how each employee was so supportive of each other and of him. They really are a team and I appreciated the “family feel” of the company as a whole.
There really wasn’t too much drama and when things go awry for Adam and Alison, it wasn’t too difficult for them to see the error of their ways and make up. Oh, and I really hated Alison’s father. He was such a selfish jerk. It pained me to see Alison work so hard to make her dad proud and it wasn’t hard to predict how he actions would blow up in her face, but when things exploded I respected Alison for the way she handled everything and I loved how things turned around. Justice!
Rebound turned out to be a feel-good, low-drama kind of read. Adam and Alison are very cute together and Adam’s company has an amazing cast of secondary characters that I loved. It’s a great, light-hearted book filled with plenty of fun moments that will hold your attention and have you rooting for the couple all the way through.
