BG3 has mastered the art of hand-clapping now and it is adorable, of course. There’s this little Vietnamese rhyme that I always sing to her that involves clapping and she loves that song. Now whenever I sing it, she claps along happily. She also knows to clap whenever we say “Yayyyy!”
We’re letting her eat a wider variety of food nowadays. Basically anything besides honey, nuts, and milk. She seems to like a little bit of everything for the most part and gets easily upset if she sees food and you don’t automatically give her some. We’re still feeding the mixed congee as her main meals, but mixing it up with all kinds of foods because it seems like she’s not one to continually eat the same thing every day like the older girls did at this age.
Even though she’s reluctant at times, she has been known to give the occasional kiss here and there if you hold her right. She’s stingy with her kisses already!
There have been more and more instances of standing on her own and she’s definitely testing her limits and challenging herself. Looking back at my diary for BG2, she took her first steps at Week 48. I don’t know if that’s going to happen for BG3, but in any case, anytime from now until her first birthday is on track for her, based on her siblings.
