Revenge was never this much fun...
When Rochelle Ransom auditioned for the dating show Luring Love, she had big plans for winning the prize money to help her favorite charity-and if she won the hot bachelor's heart, even better. But at the last minute she finds out the hot bachelor is her ex-boyfriend, Grant Drake. Desperate to keep her distance from him, she'll do anything-and everything-to get voted off.
Years ago, Rochelle broke Grant's heart, and he's out for revenge. There's no way he'll vote her off.
After all, vengeance is a dish best served red-hot...and on live television.
When her hilarious antics to get kicked off the show escalate, Grant's reminded why he fell in love with her the first time. Now he isn't sure which might be more fun... Seeing how far Rochelle is willing to go to get away or how far he will to keep her forever
I received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
One Line: So much love for this book!
In My Opinion: Add to cart!
Anna totally has another amazing book in her arsenal. I loved every minute of this book. This was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted a book that resembled the fun and romance of “The Bachelor/Bachelorette” without any sleaziness. I was seriously on a Bachelor kick for a minute there because of the show and was in search of a book along those lines, but only found one, which turned out to be a flop. Thank goodness for Anna! Rochelle and Grant have amazing chemistry and a love/hate relationship I just reveled in. I loved seeing how far Rochelle would go to get voted off and I loved seeing Grant do his best to keep her.
I was smiling the whole time while reading this book. There were plenty of moments where I busted out laughing and moments where I swooned over the romance and love that Rochelle and Grant shared. Not only that, the other contestants added a good amount of drama and humor to the story. There’s also a bit of a villain in the form of the producers of the show and Banks paints a pretty realistic picture of how shows like this operate. Of course, I wouldn’t know for sure, but I’m sure there’s some truth to it.
A real winner, in my opinion. I couldn’t get enough of it and I was sad when it ended. So much love for Anna and How to Lose a Bachelor.
