One of the staples of the planning world nowadays is washi tape. I love it!
There are thousands of them, and I seriously want to collect them all.
My collection is pretty small right now, but I thought it would be nice to give them their own feature and showcase all the pretties that I’ll be getting over time. All the ones that I have right now, I bought from Michael’s, which is slowly becoming a shopping staple, like Target (when they have sales, clearance items, and coupons, that is).
This week’s theme: BLUE
I was feeling kind of blue this week and decorated my planner with this blue washi set from the Recollections collection. I didn’t try the larger polka-dot tape or the glitter yet. I can tell you that I’ve learned washi is pretty thin and transparent for the most part, unless you use the glitter washi (which I have for other colors). That’s kind of a bummer, but I think that’s what makes it easy to peel and move around, which is perfect for decorating, as I tend to move things around and be a perfectionist.
My favorite of the set, besides the pretty glitter, would have to be the polka dots (thin) washi. I like polka dots in general for decor, and I’m more a fan of the thin versions as opposed to the wider ones.
Which one is your favorite of the set?
